The Packaging Cluster will bring together its members and collaborators on June 19th and 20th for a new edition of the Packaging Talks, an annual event that has become the essential meeting point for more than 150 professionals in the sector. This meeting offers a unique opportunity to enjoy high-level presentations and networking sessions that delve into the most relevant topics in the packaging industry.

Thursday, June 19th, 2025: Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly and the Packaging Talks 2025

The day will begin at 5:00 p.m. with check-in at the Empordà Golf Club, followed by a welcome moment with a coffee & accreditation space for all attendees. At 7:00 p.m., the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly will be held, chaired by Martina Font, president of the cluster, and Àlex Brossa, Cluster Manager. During the assembly, the reports and strategic plans for the coming year will be presented and approved, including the 2025 Activity Plan and the 2025 budget.

At 8:00 p.m., Àlex Roca, athlete with a disability and ambassador of the FCB and Allianz Foundation, will give an inspiring talk entitled “You set the limit.” Roca, who obtained the 2023 Guinness World Record as the first person with cerebral palsy to complete a marathon, will share his story of personal improvement. The session will also feature the participation of Eloi Planes, executive chairman of Fluidra, who will reflect on business challenges and shared experiences with Roca.

The day will close with a networking dinner at 9:15 p.m. with sponsor Sistemes Informàtics ICON, followed by a networking & drinks space from 10:30 p.m. to continue establishing connections in a relaxed atmosphere.

June 20: Trends and business innovation

The second day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with accreditation and a coffee break. The institutional welcome by Martina Font will be at 9:15 a.m., giving way to a day full of presentations and debates.

At 9:25 a.m., Alfons Cornella, founder of Infonomia and innovation expert, will give the presentation “How to innovate without being Google”, in which he will defend that any company can innovate with the right tools and attitude, regardless of its size.

A round table will follow, moderated by Ricard Agustín, expert at Family Business Solutions, on family business management, with the participation of prominent business leaders such as Vanesa Martínez (Carinsa), Maria Ruz (Lengdor) and Pere Joan Valls (Pere Valls). This table will share experiences, challenges and strategies for managing family businesses.

At 11:35 a.m., Enrico Nebbia, founding partner of Ekselia Partners, will talk about creating a strong sales team in the presentation "How to build a sales team to grow a company".

At 12:05 p.m., Gemma de les Coves, physicist and researcher in computing and neural networks, will give a talk entitled "The Principle of Infinity", where she will connect science and business innovation. Her presentation will be followed by a conversation with Eloi Planes, executive chairman of Fluidra.

To end the day, at 1:00 p.m., Jordi Prat Camps, physicist and data science expert, will present real applications of artificial intelligence in industry. Then, Martina Font's institutional closing will give way to a networking lunch at 1:40 p.m. in the gardens of the Empordà Golf Club, thus closing this edition of the Packaging Talks.
