Witte y Solà hosted the session, where Industrial Cybersecurity was discussed.

The last 24th of January we inagurate the Packaging Cluster activities plan of 2019 with an event in the Witte y Solà company, member of the cluster. The second eddition of the Open Doors Conference, began the activities of 2019. This kind of events, aims to know the companies and the people that make up the Packaging Cluster.

The same that we do in the first event in Hinojosa, the session starts with a presentation with a relevant and interesting topic for the industriy.  Joan Figueres, Coordinator of the Catalonia and pain of the Industrial Cibersecurity Center (CCI), talked about the industrial cibersegurity and how we need to protect.

Secontly, Jordi Morell, the innovation and talent director at WYS, launched an introduction about the company which completed half a century ago, and they have never stopped innovating. As a summary, we introduce all the news that will do 2019 in order to: the improvement of the production and performance of the plant; the continuous training or the welcome of new workers; or the generation of new ideas and products, with the CreationLab space.

Afterwards, the attendees were able to visit the plant, where they differentiate the manufacture of the tubes from an aluminum coin (a single material) or laminated tubes (sandwich of different materials, including aluminum). These according to the characteristics of others, allow better quality of impression with different technologies, and more personalization in closures and plugs.

Witte y Solá (WyS) is a strategic collaborator in packaging specialized with aluminum tubes, for large sectors such as pharmacy, hair dye, industrial, food or toothpaste. With a family business structure of current concept, maintains, since 1968, a line of action based on service and proximity to the customer. It is also a humamo team involved in the improvement.
